On Thursday 9th February we welcomed homeowners, investors, agency partners to join us at Mayfield Watford to celebrate the official opening of our beautiful new Hertfordshire retirement village, the first of it's kind in the area and the first Mayfield village to open.
Homeowners (many of whom moved in to their new home in September 2022) and invited guests enjoyed champagne and canapes followed by a heartwarming introduction by speakers Nick Sanderson Audley Group CEO and the Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor. Guests who had not yet seen the retirement village complete, were given a tour of the show apartment and the central facilities, including the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym, hair salon, gardens and rooftop gardens.

Chef had outdone himself, crafting an array of savoury and sweet delights for guests to enjoy. More than one guest was seen heading back for a second or third homemade jam doughnut.

We received some terrific feedback on the day and in the days following, and our homeowners in particular could not have been more proud of the place they call home.
The dedicated team at Mayfield Watford host regular events for homeowners and encourage homeowners to lead their own hobbies and interest groups too, so there's never a shortage of events to join.
