We pride ourselves in our quality of service, therefore should you need any advice or assistance with anything, please call or visit reception. If there is anything we cannot answer immediately, we will endeavour to source the answer for you.

Here are some questions owners often have when they first move in

Q. Do I have to book to use the gym?

No, owners are welcome to use the gym and pool during our Mayfield Club opening hours. The Club is open from 8am until 8pm 7 days a week. Changing rooms, with lockers, are available during these times. To attend a fitness or squa class please set up an account on Smoothbook to book your class in advance.

Q. Can my friends and family use the facilities at the Mayfield Club?

Certainly. Your visitors are most welcome to use any facilities within your village, including the swimming pool during the family swim sessions twice a week.

Q. Can I use the facilities of other Mayfield or Audley retirement villages?

Yes, you can use all the Mayfield Club facilities at any Mayfield retirement village as little or as much as you like. Your discount applies at other villages too.

Q. How do I book private dining?

If you would like to plan a private function or family get-together, please contact the M bar and Kitchen Restaurant Manager or Deputy General Manager.

Q. When is the weekly Coffee Morning?

This will take place once a month and will be advertised in the What's On guide and events page once dates are confirmed.

Q. When will the shop open?

We are currently sourcing a trader for our shop selling a range of essentials.

Q. Who is available at night?

Two members of the care team will be on duty throughout the night and can assist in the event of an emergency. They will regularly patrol the village. There is also availability of 24 hour care.

Q. Can I make improvements or changes to my house?

Yes, but we do ask that you discuss the proposed changes with the General Manager of the village and agree what it is you plan to do.

Q. Will my home be looked after if I am away?

You can go on holiday or visit your relatives for as long as you please, knowing that your home is looked after. All properties are fitted with an intruder and smoke alarm linked to the central monitoring system. There are also closed-circuit television cameras around the estate. If you wish, we can also inspect your home while you are away and make any arrangements for your return, including opening up and stocking your fridge.

Q. Is there rubbish collection?

Monday to Sunday: Rubbish can be disposed of through the waste chute in your apartment, where a member of the team will take care of the rest!

Q. How do I book maintenance?

Q. Can I order a newspaper?

These can be ordered for delivery with the local newsagents. Please speak to reception for contact information.

Q. How do I book housekeeping, laundry and/or ironing?

We can arrange to support on housekeeping and to have your items laundered in-house with our care team or via a local company. Please contact reception for a price list or more information.

Q. How do I book the guest suite?

Our guest suite offers the perfect accommodation for friends or family visits, please book directly with reception. All prices include continental breakfast served in the Bistro between 10.00 – 12.00.

M Bar & Kitchen:

The M Bar and Kitchen will open 08:00-20:00 for drinks.

All day dining: Monday to Thursday 10:00 – 18:00
All day dining: Friday, Saturday 09:00 - 20:00
Lunch service: Sunday 12:00 -15:00
Afternoon Tea: Tuesday – Saturday 14:00 - 17:00
